While studying abroad in Ecuador, at age 20, Matt had everything he owned, including his passport, stolen druing a sunrise surf trip. A week later, with a borrowed suit and a kind intro from a local, he interviewed with Datatec, S.A. Less than a week later he was made Head of Sales, going to launch offices in Bogotá, Columbia and Santiago, Chile, connecting central banks with their private banking counterparts, creating the first digital foreign exchange platform in Latin America.
It's just one piece of Matt's story that sparked a lifelong quest to funnel his energy into disrupting the status quo in big industries, while driving companies that deliver products designed to improve lives.
